    Rule used by this program
    1. Normalize Markdown into plain text while preserving headings and short fragments as possible term sources.
    2. Count words and phrases that pass the occurrence threshold, then merge custom synonym variants into primary terms.
    3. Boost candidates that appear across multiple documents, in headings, near definition verbs, or inside parallel lists.
    4. Flag likely meanings from patterns like "term is", "term means", "term: meaning", "called term", and appositive descriptions.
    5. Flag emerging terms when short incomplete lines, title-case fragments, acronyms, or hyphenated phrases recur without full sentence punctuation.

    Ranked terms show frequency, document spread, synonym matches, context flags, and sentence-level evidence.
